Challenge 14- Shaped Cards

Challenge 14- Shaped Cards

Postby CaseysAngel » September 27th, 2011, 11:40 am

Shaped cards are fun and very easy to make. You can get many free files by checking out the BC members blog or make one of your own.

Example fo a shaped card (the free file for this is on my blog if you want/need it )

This is a file that I bought from Scrap Chick. I kinda like how this one turned out and think I may make more of them for the soldiers for their kids. I had a hard time with the hat tassel, I didn't use the cut out one, I thought it needed some dimension, it's made from embroidery floss, same for the scarf. I'm still on a Christmas kick since I have all my Christmas stuff all over my scrap room.

I love your snowman Phyllis he is quite cute! You know, this is one of the reasons I got my first cutter - so I could make "shaped" cards! I just like them and think they make them more unique. But now, in reality - how many have I made - probably not so many! :hide: (But I have made some - now to make some more for this challenge!)
Go Vols!
