Challenge 1- Pop Up Card

Re: Challenge 1- Pop Up Card

Here's my first pop-up. Don't think I will be repeating this anytime soon. I am a miniaturist and we always try to fill in the spaces. So this took forever! Background paper pieced from SVG Cuts Strawberry Field. Pumpkins from SVG Cuts Heirloom Pumpkins - Copics for coloring. Where little white piece show it's the glue, Copics dont' cover that the same as paper. On to the next challenge : )

I really don't have time for 2 intense hobbies so I go back and forth. What is your scale?

Great Job on the Popup cards everybody. I've made a slightly different type of "pop-up" card then the sample shown. Hope that is okay. I found this site - http://www.robertsabuda.com. He has a bunch of templates for making different types of pop-up cards. I used one of his templates and created my own cut file for it using MTC. I made it so I could cut the "base" image in black and then made the "pieces" to cut out in colored paper as well. I did that using the new knife feature in MTC 4.0.4. Lovng the new features in MTC - makes creating files so much easier!

The front of the card is some halloween paper that I had that already had the haunted house image and I just cut it to size. Wording is a stamp I had. I used a MS spider Web punch on the corners of the wording block. Drew in the face.
