Kathy, what a neat idea to do than on an orange tile. Looks great. I have only done vinyl 1-2 times on a very small project but this makes me want to try it on the tiles.

Got one more done. Well all except the transfer tape. I used the wet method for positioning and the letters need some time to dry before I can remove the transfer tape.

Thanks Elizabeth! She's from a Lettering Delights set that's currently free. Here's the link if anyone wants to get the set. I think it was a PNG, but it was easy to trace.

Thanks everyone! I saw that orange/amber colored tile at Home Depot today and instantly knew what I wanted to put on it! LOL

The tiles are so much fun to make. I will add some little saying on mine later.

Jeannette I love your newest addition - what do you mean by the "wet method"?

Kathy, it's where you spray some water with a touch of soap in it on the tile or glass then lay the vinyl on and squeegee it. It helps to get all the air bubbles out and allows for moving it if need be. It sticks fine after it dries, at least I hope it does, lol. I've used this method with contact paper on a window, but I never had to remove the transfer paper afterwards. I'm sure by morning it will come off no problem.

Elizabeth, I'm really liking the alcohol inks on the tile. May have to try it soon.

Kathy , I like your haunted house. Nice design.

Jeanette, great tile also. I've never used the wet method for applying vinyl. About how long would you leave the transfer tape on before removing?

Thanks Michelle. Good question on the transfer tape. This was the first time I did it with the transfer tape. I was impatient and took it off this morning, so about 14 hours, but it really wasn't ready yet. I had to force each letter. For this same tile, I think I would do the wet method for the witch and moon, but without transfer tape. Then add the letters on without the wet method, unless I had at least a day to leave it on.
The wet method was great on the large pieces for applying without air bubbles.
