OMG Trisha - I had no idea. I will pray extra hard that our daughter and family will be spared. I hope the cooler weather will extend to them and that some rain will come. I heard it was raining in Nevada today - maybe it will move south.

God bless you and your family for all you are doing in helping those who have lost so much. I cannot even imagine.......

Please keep us posted.

Love those, Beanie! Especially the candy corn one! I don't like to eat candy corn, but it is one of my favorite candies to look at.

Same here! I don't think people give it out here much anymore. Growing up we always got a bunch, but no one ate it. I can't remember if my kids have ever gotten any!

Very cute Jeannette.

And yes Trisha you can use hot glue, UTEE, glossy accents, or the pebbles can be found at the dollar tree for $1.00 sister.

I'm sorry you are babbling the wild fires. my aunt Kim is in Texas and got evacuated but I BELIEVE they got to go home today.

Trisha, I will certainly keep everyone in my prayers, this is such a tragedy.

Beanie, those are so cute.

I looked at JoAnn's today for the pebbles but couldn't find them; I didn't make it to Michaels, I know I've seen them somewhere. We don't have a Dollar Tree close to me, if anywhere around here. As soon as I find them I'm going to make these.

Trisha, I'll keep the area in my prayers. I can't imagine what you and the people in the area are going through. It must be heart wrenching to witness the devastation.

Thank you, Jeannette. I really do appreciate that.
BTW, our daughter's middle name is spelled the same way as your name. We named her after a teacher, but spelled her name "wrong."

Mine is often mispelled the 1n way. I'm also a teacher! How old is your daughter? I don't often see my name, especially with people younger than 40. I never used to see my mom's name (Madeline) though, until 14 years ago, now it's a popular one again.

Jeannette, you're not going to believe this...our daughter is a middle school teacher. She's 36, so I guess she's not that much under 40. (Boy, is that painful! I can hardly believe she's that old! I can hardly believe I'M that old! Lol!) You know, now that you mention it, I don't hear of any children being named Patricia anymore. When I was in school, it seemed like every other girl was a Pat or Patty or Patti. I was the only Trisha I ever knew about until fairly recently. Names really do go in cycles.

LOL Trisha! It happens quick, that's for sure. My dd is now learning to drive and both kids are in high school. I know I will blink and they will be out on their own.

Hello,

Here is my final completed challenge. I had to run out to get the beady things, and while we were out, DD wanted to try to find some new cleats. (Her's are in perfect condition, except for the horrible smell!) So it took us awhile to get home. These magnets were fun, but I used the thin sheet magnet, and they are too heavy to stick to my fridge! I guess I'll have to get some heavier magnets next time I'm out. I want to make some more of these when I have some more time. They would be great for any season. Thanks, Christy!

PS Sadly, Leila didn't find any new cleats! We did get some of those little sneaker deoderizer things, but the look pretty insignificant, compared to the smell!
