I’m honored to be able to be a contributor of a challenge idea for this crop…..I was to come up with an idea for a Christmas themed project for you to create for a chance to win some goodies…..Of which you can learn more details at the above link……..So what I decided on was a Gift Bag Topper…these things are SO popular in my area……..they are so easy to package up something quickly and giving it a FUN look!!!! And the cool thing is…you can reuse them over and over again……so here’s the one I created for this Crop…..

You can see I created the same file design 2 different ways…..the first design I used A less active a decorative scrapbook paper with the phrase printed drawn with my pens directly onto the bag topper….the 2nd I printed it off with my printer and did the print and cut technique creating a mat layers…….I have included the mat layers in this file so you can do it the way YOU want!!!! So here’s the file……

Also ….the packages…..I have included the graphics for the presents within the file itself…you’ll need to import them into your software to cut if you wish or use your own paper…whichever YOU want to do…afterall…it’s YOUR creation!!!

Now the thing I think is SO SUPER COOL!!!!????? Look at the bag…..see how awesomely fuzzy it is…..This is the COOLEST paper I got from Tyler’s store… AllThatJazzSupplies.com its fuzzy and SOFT SOFT SOFT…..Cuts like BUTTER with my Lynx “Sable”….here’s where you can find it in his store… Tyler’s FUZZY PAPER It’s available in a rainbow of colors and PERFECT for this project!!!!! I’ll share with you when I cut it I turned the fuzzy side face down on the mat and actually cut the backside ……made cutting it a dream……

I have more views and another sample on my blog if you're interested in seeing them....

I gotta tell you Phyllis I'm BEYOND puzzled too!!! I just tried to import it myself and it wouldn't import...but it imports in to MTC perfectly!!!! I even saved it to a new file totally and renamed it and it still won't import.......This is the first time I've ever had this happen....

Wow, Penny, you're quick. It works, thanks so much. I looked at your other bag toppers on your blog and all I can say is "gorgeous"; you do such beautiful work.

oh Penny this is GREAT.

Retta, do you have felt paper? Hobby lobby also has sticky felt paper that would work if you wanted to use it until you get fuzzy paper.

And speaking of Hobby Lobby - I found out the other day when I couldn't find Armour Etch at any craft store here, that you can order from Hobby Lobby online!! So for those who wish you had a Hobby Lobby, like me, check out the online option!

Christy - I have velvet paper from years ago. I want to get some of the paper that Tyler has. My problem with doing this crop is my eyes. I can't see to read and design right now. I am jealous but so enjoying seeing what everyone is doing! This is so much fun!
