CHALLENGE 31 Make and Decorate a Box by StephP

Postby StephP » July 8th, 2011, 6:03 pm

This challenge is to make and decorate a box. There are many box files around--you can pick anyone you want--free or purchased, and in any shape.

The one I used is a hexagon box from DtsArt and in honor of this challenge, Dardi has put her file on sale for just $2
(you get two boxes and two lids for various sizing options--see her description for details)

http://www.dtsart.com/item_187/SVG-Cut-File-Hexagon-Box-Template-3D-Die-Cut.htm

The box must then also be decorated in any way you like. And if you know already, tell us who will get it and what will go inside!

I have provided two examples. Have fun, and I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks Penny! (and everyone for your nice comments!) It looks like lots of us were on a box-wave length for this challenge. Oh well--they're always a fun way to package stuff!

I got the box cut out! Yayyyyy! It only took me an hour to figure out the papers I wanted to use! Now to put it together and embellish...this will have to wait until tomorrow. I am getting tired and need some sleep!

Thanks, Steph, for the idea!

These boxes are really neat. I am hoping to do all the challenges, just taking it one day at a time. I love making boxes also.
