Challenge 24 by Christy Personalized Candles

Re: Challenge 24 by Christy Personalized Candles

My last challenge of the crop!
I followed Gigi's lead and cut the paper short! Oops. Unfortunately, you do get to see the issue. I may figure out something extra to add to conceal it. Just not yet.
Thanks everyone for some great projects! Wish I could have got to more of them.

Let's see, California in January, Ontario in July. I think that would be the best of both worlds!

Jeannette I love that candle... I bought some candles to try this, but need to wait until I have more time. I just can never decide on an image I want to use though. But I love yours!!!

I'm really not into candles, (too hard on my asthmatic lungs), but these are all so pretty, it makes me want to do one. Gigi, I just love that blue!

Thanks CeCe. It was fun to do, but I don't use regular candles as much as I used to - I use flameless candles most of the time. I love having them come on all over the house at night - all on timers - and I don't have to try to remember to blow them out!

That's a good idea. I was so glad when my mother, around age 96, finally stopped lighting real candles! I gave her some flameless ones to transition her. Now, she just doesn't care anymore.

If you go to the very first post of this section, there is a video at the end of Christy's post - the first one, that shows how to do it.

Hope that helps.

And you definitely need to use an embossing gun NOT a hairdryer...believe me, I know! The reason I tried mine with the blow dryer is I can't find my embossing (heat) gun!!! Not such a good idea, the blow dryer does not get hot enough.
