Can someone tell me if the print has to be laser printed or ink jet?

Here is my attempt at the candle. I really struggled to get the paper to "stick". The design and lettering are foiled - that is just too much fun!

Thanks Retta. You are so sweet.

This is one of those (don't look at the back) projects!! I cut the paper a little short - barely - and it would not adhere no matter what I did. So it was carefully "posed" for the picture!! :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

But the foiling WAS fun and worked -so am looking at the good side - PUN intended!!

I am so jealous of the foiling machine. So I will just really enjoy your creations and get out my glue pen and glue pad!

These are all amazing! I cannot wait to try this!!! I have a blue candle so I need to figure out something fitting to go on it :) Christy thanks for teaching me something new! Loved the video! Still not quite sure what you used to adhere the paper to the candle though (couldn't hear that part).

Okay, needless to say, I haven't had much time to work on any challenges for this crop. I did go to Michaels today, they have a few good coupons this week for their Christmas in July sale. I used a 40% off entire candle purchase (should have picked up more candles) and also used a 25% off entire purchase (including sale items). I got 2 6 inch white pillar candles, and 3 3 inch white pillar candles. I had this challenge in mind when I bought them. I'm not sure yet exactly what I'm going to do, but Gigi, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that foiling.

I'm going to try and do some crafting this week, to help me through. Mom loved to do crafts, so this will be a great way to think about her.

(and I am not even commented on the other thread about Penny's NEW toy - now I want that too - you guys are doing us all in!!) :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I am going to do this challenge, although not before the crop is over. I bought some plain white candles at Michaels with a 40% off coupon, and saw a way to color them using the alcohol inks. I wanted to wait until I got my foil so I can use foil to decorate them with. Not sure how the color of the alcohol inks will hold up to warming the candle to put the decoration on.. but I will try. Although I'm not sure when I will have time for this, as I go back to work on Monday... and my crafting time will be limited again. IF/When I do get them done, I will post pictures.
