I have a new grandson (2 months old now) so I thought I would make a "baby's first Christmas" book. In looking through my SVGCuts files I found this great "Baby's 1st Christmas" ball file so I turned it into "Joey's 1st Christmas" book and used a few other files from SVGCuts (Christmas Memories and Joy -- although the Joy is supposed to be ornaments I messed that part up LOL). I even used some of the Santa clothes tags. I thought opening the jacket and having a picture of Joey inside would be cute!

I am sure we will have to add pages to this little book. I will most likely add some ribbon to the ring clips when my hands allow me to tie again LOL

That is so cute, Kathy. Glad you are feeling well enough to craft again!

And congratulations on the new grandson. My two granddaughters just left after visiting for 3 1/2 days so I will be in my craft room busily working to try to take my mind off how much I miss them!

The book is such a great idea for your new addition!

And here is my tribute to ScrappyDew! My little man Aiden loves fire trucks, police cars and ambulances. (Hmmm, mommy is a former EMT and has been an emergency dispatcher for 14 years...guess we have something in common LOL)

Any way, I wanted to make books for him for Christmas and this was a great way to get started! (Now to convince Rob to make files on ambulances and EMTs <hint hint>) So here is the first of three books -- My Fire Truck Book for Aiden
I will be adding stories and pictures of his trip to the firehouse.

Thanks Gigi. It is hard to do things for him when he is here with me all the time but today he was hooked on a Scooby Doo marathon so I had time to play a little here and there LOL
