Lisa -

I did it - almost!! :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: I was so afraid to start this project and am having a great time. It's totally unconventional and I am not really sure what I am going to do with it as far as embellishments, but the pieces are cut.

It was not as hard as I was making it in my head - and got me thinking about all sorts of different things you could do along this line. What a fun project. Hope to post something tomorrow. Thanks for encouraging me to try it!

OK - a disclaimer - I don't like this at all - not Lisa's project but how I did it! That being said - here it is as far as I got - no tags or anything on the inside yet - thinking I might throw coupons and lists in it so they aren't falling all over my car!!

Thanks Lisa - this was fun - I just think I have lost all creativity!

Gigi - it is cute. I don't know what is wrong with it that you don't like it. I don't do well with pastels myself, unless it is for a baby. I love earthy and distressed papers. But this is pretty! You did a great job on it!

Phyllis Iove how your book turned out! The colours and distressing turned out great!

Gigi, the book turned out great! The colour scheme look so springlike and fresh.

I really love the way Lisa's book looks but I just don't know how to achieve that look...yet...so here is my attempt. I only showed a couple of the pages because it was hard to lay it open. I don't ever do a lot of embellishments but I will add more. I just have to go to the store to find some different ones than what I have. Nothing seemed to look good!
