No, sure don't. Antiquity runs throughout my house! My husband doesn't update or upgrade ANYTHING until it is either dead or on its last leg!

I think it is Windows XP. Does that sound like a correct name? Showing my computer illiteracy here!

I have Vista and I know the snipping tool is on there, not sure about XP...I'm sure someone will come along to let us know...

have you tried to do a pixel trace in MTC of your actual photograph?

I can't hold the camera yet to take a picture, but I did get this cut out and love it. Now that I understand how this works (thanks Christy) I am excited to get all the other recipes cut out. Thanks so much for this Sheri!

Okay, mine was done in inkscape. The pictures and recipes are are on different layers. The words are inkskape words - you could actually cut them if they were not so small. I know there is a vector and raster in this file. I guess I've forgotten how to save a picture in a vector file. And I'm not sure why the text box changed as i moved them all to fit! Help. Not home to look at them and so ready to be off work. Would someone teach me what to do?

Can you get the full image to show up on your computer? I tried tracing in the image you gave me but I can't get rid of the box around it. If you can send me just an image of it, without the box, I should be ablet o make it an MTC file.

Ok, so I made my recipe text in GIMP, and then added it as texture to my mtc file. The rolo image is a texture too.
Thanks for the fun idea and all the great recipes so far!

Oh, Yum. Before my husband retired, I used to bake cookies and send them to work with him. I'm going to have to find another outlet. These all look so good.

If I am understanding you correctly, you just need to select your image/picture, go to Extensions>Images>Embed and it should stay there. (I have Inkscape 47)

Kathyb, I just love the bubble lights on your card!! Thanks for that! I vaguely remember them being on my grandmother's tree, but it feels like a very good memory none the less.

Gig, it's not hard. Just download the recipe base, insert your receipe, print and cut. Then upload the file here so we can all print it for our books.

and everyone is doing GREAT. I have downloaded all the new ones and got them ready to be printed!!!!
