LOL Gigi.... Well if Christy is not going to let me get away, she is going to have to help me deliver mail... then maybe I will have time to work on some challenges. Although I'm not very good at doing challenges.... but I can oooh and ahhhh over every one elses. I just don't like having a time frame to work in.... too much pressure... LOL But when I can do things at my own pace... I do much better... just can't win any prizes that way.

Thank so much for organizing this event. This will be my first crop. I'm not sure what to expect, but, am thinking it will help me get some projects accomplished. I have the original blue Craft Robo and the Cricut Expression.

Diane - I work better under pressure - much better. Only because it takes me FOREVER to decide what image to cut, which cardstock or paper to use, how to put it together, etc. So the crop has really forced me to make a decision and go with it - maybe there is hope for me yet!! LOL

I hope you can participate even a little - it's all about having fun - right Christy?? She had to pound that into my head the first time!! :ROFLMBO:

scrappergirl858 - It is a great time to learn a few techniques and do some projects that you want to do. Just hangin' out with everyone, inspiration flows! The challenges aren't just to do as directed, but take the challenge and make what you would like to do with it. For instance, you see what the challenge example is. You like the flower, but wish it were a butterfly. Or the paper makes it look down home and earthy, but my style may run to floral and brighter! You take the technique and make something you want to keep out of it.

Have fun and it will be great having you around!!!

Retta -

Thanks for sharing that as I didn't realize how much flexibility there was with the challenge the first time around - until I started to see some of the things posted. So glad you said all that you did!! That is great for anyone new - (and not so new!!) Notice I didn't say old!! :D

Okay, I'm sitting on ready!! I have cleared the schedule for tomorrow and the weekend so I can play. After that, I have family celebrations going on for a week or so, and then watch out! I hope to craft up a storm with this crop!! I am so excited for this to happen. I've never done one before, so I am really looking forward to this. (Imagine a jumping up and down smilie here.)

Hi Christy:

I just pm'd you so I can be registered for the crop. Thank you so much. I am like CAGigi in that it takes me so long to decide what I doing and what paper to chose that I end up doing nothing so this should force me to get moving.(lol)

I got you registered colleen.

Maybe we need a challenge just for you and Gigi. You have 30 minutes to pick papers, etc AND complete the project.LOL

Okay so I'll admit I need that challenge to. I'm bad about taking FOREVER to decide what I want to do.
