Ohhh Lisa - you should have talked to me. I would have talked you down!! :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: They are DEFINITELY addicting - and when you actually color something with them - well it's all over.

Have to say -love being able to change the color of a brad or gem or anything just with a swipe of the Copic!! No need to buy colors of things anymore - just "copic" them!! :ROFLMBO:

I had not either until this past Christmas season and Christy and Rach talked me into trying it out and man oh man did I have a blast! And I learned so many new (and cool) things!

Me too, Christy. I figure that I'll have to save up around $300.00 to buy the starter set by the time I decide to get them. (Inflation even gets to crafts supplies, dadgum it!)

LOL yea and then I'd cringe at paying $300 for markers.

I don't know. I don't really use markers so I guess it's not that big of a deal to me. I can see me trying them, loving them, and dragging my poor kid's to hobby lobby all the time so I could buy them 40% off though so it's probably best I pass before my kid's try to have me commited. :ROFLMBO:

Did NOT buy a big set! there's no way I could do that, and I haven't been a marker person either. I usually just do watercolor or color pencil, but these are so fun, a lot like watercolor or color pencils on steroids....I figure I will do a few each paycheck and maybe I'll have some stock in a few months....maybe by Christmas!

Good idea. I think that's often the way we get our stash of stuff. I know I have scads of paper, but I didn't buy it in one gulp.

I've never been much of a marker person, either. But those copics look like a lot of fun when I've seen videos of them in use. Since you already do colorations with other media, you'll probably enjoy having those pens. They'll be fun to play with!

Okay Okay... I will register.. but I'm not promising how many, IF ANY challenges I will get done... I'm hoping I will have more than my Sundays off, but this time of year I work almost as much overtime as I do at Christmas time. Everybody seems to think they need a vacation, so we are always short of people this time of year. :D

But even if I can't do them during the Challenge, I will be watching them to look for new things to try... and see what every one else is doing.
