So Christy - do that mean I guessed it right - it is the document holder type that stands up by itself on its curved foot??

Pat

Yep. it's clear plastic that stands on it's own and you slide the photo into it from the side.

Hi guys! Yes the frame is 8X10 acrylic for pictures or documents.
Also you will need some Christmas files for print and cut so you can prepare ahead of time.
12X12 Red CS, Black CS, White CS, Stickles or fine glitter white or diamond dust which is what I use
pop dots or glue dots
glue runner or ATG
2 pieces of the same color 12 X 12 CS or double sided CS Christmas or not or cover plain with Christmas paper
cereal box cardboard or chipboard
download the Puzzle program from MTC site if you don't want to use my file
some kind of glue
modge podge - optional
several photos 4X6
Most of this you probably already have. If i think of something else I will add it later.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

It's time I got serious about learning how to use Inkscape Retta so your challenge will give me that nudge to do it :) :) I am looking forward to it, just always a little chicken when it comes to Inkscape LOL. I don't know why, I dive right in to new softwares at work and beat them to death to find glitches and learn how everything works. Inkscape however throws me for a curve every time I look at it LOL

I am so excited. I have never been able to do a crop before. I just can't do the ones that are only over the weekend. I have family dinner at my house every Sunday and feed anywhere from 9-13 people. Takes me all day Saturday just to prepare. I am not complaining. It is my idea and I love doing it. I love to cook!!! But, it does limit my weekend time.

I suspended my classes until the fall. It is just too hot. Have I mentioned I don't like HOT! So, other than sewing for my daughter, my time is mine, mostly. Yes!! Well, I think I am going to start teaching my granddaughters to sew but they are young and their attention span is short. Besides, they will want to get into the pool as soon as they can.

I have a Cinch and have not even opened the box. :hide: Am looking forward to using that. I already have most of the supply list. I am ready to go.

KathyBessie - I hope it will help. I had a hard time with the terms in Inkscape, they were different than the software I was using. I'm still learning, so I hope it will help.

Ok....So I'm not exactly sure where to put the supply list.....but I'll start by putting it here.......for mine you'll need the following:

Decorative Christmas Scrapbook paper
Gift Bag.....8" wide
Red Fuzzy paper from Tyler's Store
White Cardstock
Ribbon

I think that about covers what supplies you'll need.....

Okay I was told to add the following as well
"could you add a big, fat (like 2.5-3" across) candle to the supply list? At least 3 inches high, but higher is probably better. Thanks

I thought I put up my list already, but I must have left the page before I actually posted it.

Nothing too fancy, but just to make sure you have enough of...
cardstock (colored, patterned, themed..whatever you like)
adhesive
embellishments (buttons, ribbons, brads, etc...whatever!)
