My Kusudama Flower Dodecahedron

I went to a paper and card stock factory outlet today. The first thing I saw inside was origami paper and thought of Connie's gorgeous one and the video I watched. I ran right by it fast so I wouldn't be tempted to try it and end up in therapy. I still managed to spend $125.00 on card stock and matching glimmer papers. In a craft store I would have easily paid over $400.00 for what I got and I won't need much for awhile. I believe what I am saying at least for today.

Funny Kate - I think we can all relate!! Sounds like maybe you got the Stardream cardstock and textweight (because it shimmers and is beautiful!) But whatever you got, that is an awesome deal! Good for you!

Have fun.

Well, it did take me 3 trips to bring it in from the car. The card stock is heavy and A3 so is the shimmer paper that matches A3. Nice and big. Then there are the 5 packs of 100 heavy card stock up to 300gsm in A4 and 2 of pretty shimmering paper and one bag of off cuts which are big and it was only $5.00 for as much as I could carry. I think I am alright for a day or 2. I am sitting here surrounded by it all and I don't know what to look at first but I think I should stay home for at least a month. Did I mention the all coloured note books in A5 size? I just wanted to cut a bigger box and I shouldn't be let out alone.

LOL Kate - you fit in there SO well!!

What an incredible deal you got - and yes, that is the problem with a large purchase - where to start first!! I am sure you will have fun figuring it all out once you gaze at the shimmer for a while! LOL I LOVE shimmery paper as evidenced by the amount I have and use!

And you got colored notebooks too?? Wow - what fun you are going to have!

Wow Kate! Sounds like you got tons of fun stuff! Have fun sorting and using it all. A month off sounds reasonable to me, LOL!

I spent $90.00 just on the A3 sized card stock with matching papers. It worked out to be 3.8 cents for each sheet. I have to tell my husband how much money I saved him. I am sure he will be thrilled. Probably?
