Looking for bigger cardstock

Looking for bigger cardstock

Postby goodbead » July 22nd, 2011, 12:28 am

I am wondering exactly where folks are getting larger mediums to cut in their larger cutters.....I had totally convinced myself to buy a 24" cutter but I really haven't been able to find paper larger than 12x24"......and not much over 12x12". Any specific places anyone can suggest? I am looking for both cardstock and flexible chipboard......

Hi Catherine,
Are you in the US or the UK, or somewhere else?
If in the UK I can point you in the right direction

Also think Vinyl, it is easily attainable in larger widths, and even if you don't use larger cardstock or paper, you can still lay out pieces of different colors on your mat so you don't have to load and unload it. That is something I learned after owning mine for a long time LOL.

Bazzill will do the 12 x 24 cardstock but you order from them online. And you will have to purchase in packs of single color and they will cut it when they get the big sheets of that color. This isn't a fast way to get it, but they will do it. You just have to wait on them to be cutting that color of cardstock. Does that make sense? I will probably end up doing that as soon as I figure out what colors I want. I may just have DH pick up the order in AZ since he is there on business alot, rather than having them ship it. Maybe someone will want to do a share if too many colors are not involved.

If you go to the back of the Michaels in the Art section you'll see some large cardstock made by Cannon.

yep and use posterboards like the cannon art boards. You can get those in huge pieces and it's on sale at HL all the time.
