This weekend we attended and helped at the Loving all Animals adoption weekend. Bryan and I helped our friends with the petting zoo. It was a super hit. We decided to walk around and lo and behold this sweet little baby stole our hearts and we had to bring her home. Her name is Kali she is a chibeagle, and princess of the household. She won't get much bigger, and she is a lover. She follows Bryan around all over the place, she can't manage to get on anything yet. And she already knows her name, and goes out and does her business when we ask her to.

I can so relate. I have two rescues and they too stole my heart instantly - and still do daily. I love rescuing - the rewards are amazing. Good for you.

Nope we are the lucky ones. She is an amazing girl. Wish we could have taken more home. But all in all over 300 animals were adopted this weekend. I have to give a super kudos to all the people that care for these animals so they can have a better life.
