and just praying for those that have tornados in their area. Gosh, the devastation in tremendous. I used to live near Granbury, Texas as it is just outside of Fort Worth. Used to go there often and had a friend that used to own a restaurant there. And now Kansas and Oklahoma. And there is to be more severe weather tomorrow.

I am heart sick over the deaths caused by these storms. Please, please, if you have one in your area, stay safe. Property CAN be replaced, for the most part. LIVES CANNOT.

Well Thank goodness we were spared any really bad parts of the storm right here seems those poor folks to the south and north of us got the tornadoes and extra high winds, I thank god the lights only went out a few times but came back on.

It was hard to watch the news this morning and take in the extent of the damage. My heart aches for all of those affected. And it doesn't sound like the worst is over as that same area could be hit again today. Thank God there are early warning systems and most can make it to safety in plenty of time..... but that doesn't negate the horrific loss.

Thank goodness you weren't hit hard Rachellann!

This is one reason why I will never live in a mobile home. DH and I lived in one when we were in college but I would never choose to live in one if I can help it. Those things are nothing but a tin can in these kinds of conditions. I've seen far too many of them, whole trailer parks, just wiped out in a tornado. If I ever build me another house, I want a storm/safe room.

I am dreading what the storms will do today.

Give your kids an extra tight hug tonight. I just can't imagine the parents anguish. It's terrible to lose any life, but it is especially difficult to hear of a child.

Granbury is about 30 miles SW of me and Moore is about 2 hours north of me. The sky this evening has just been very eerie and stormy. I have many friends with family in OK and I have friends in Granbury. My heart is just broken for those who are suffering this evening. 51 deaths so far and they have said it could climb. So terribly sad.
