Good news on mammogram

I mentioned on another post that my annual mammogram came back that they had found "something". Well, today I had to go get another mammogram and they still saw that "something" . I wasn't worried until they showed me the mammogram and then wanted to do an ultrasound. I had to wait some time before they could get to doing the ultrasound and then get a radiologist to look at it. Asked them how long before they would let ME know! "Right away" was the answer. Longest wait ever!!!! Well, it is two cysts right next to each other and that is all. NOTHING else and I am worry free now. THANK GOD! I just didn't need Dad to have to worry about me at this time.

Tomorrow I go to the "city" and the craft store. Just may have to buy something to celebrate the good news. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Thanks everyone for the prayers!!! I am so unbelievably relieved and feeling good.

Thanks! Any excuse is a good excuse to shop for craft stuff, so I will use this one. Dad was so worried and I felt so guilty that he was having to worry about me. I kept trying to tell him that it was nothing to worry about, but you know how parents are. I think the first words out of my mouth as soon as I got to the waiting room was "no cancer, just a cyst" so he wouldn't have to "wait" a second longer than necessary. Then I texted DH the news.

Well of course we need an excuse.... and any excuse will work... like I woke up this morning... I got dressed today....I am breathing... I think all of those are a good excuse to go shopping.

I agree. My favorite one that I love to use is when I am mad at DH. Of course when I "need" something, I will be "mad" at anything. DH is so used to this and doesn't even pay me any attention. Now I don't even bother to tell him I am mad at him.....but when he notices something new, I just tell him I got it when I was mad at him.
