I will be celebrating by taking my kids out to eat tonight. I love these "odd" dates on the calendar, and use them as an excuse to do something a little special with my kids.

It wasn't a special holiday here in NH, Retta. I just love to find quirky things to celebrate with my kids (and hubby, but he is traveling and missed out on this one).

I am trying hard to squeeze as much joy as possible out my years as a Mama with kids at home. I will be sad when they grow up, but at least I will know that I enjoyed them as much as I could while I had them with me. (I have less than one year with my oldest DD, who will be off to college next year, youngest DD is a sophomore.) I hope that I am creating some special memories for them as well.
