Adding Free Digi Images to my blog

Adding Free Digi Images to my blog

Postby Dana » May 6th, 2012, 5:41 pm

My husband and I deal with antiquities and I often come across some really neat ephemera. I found a 1904 magazine that highlights the paris fashions in illustrations. I am currently going slowly, but turning them into digi images that you can download on my blog. I added two of them today for any of you who might be interested in using them with your copics or other art. Enjoy

Oh Retta... you won't believe the paper stuff I have collected from my husband's discards. Although when I saw this magazine, I took it from him immediately before he even got a chance to look at it. I know that it would sell for big money, but MY GOODNESS, the old ads and fashions drawings from Butterick Co. are just AMAZING!

I'm so glad you did. I saw when I was a little girl an old Sear's catalog that was hard back and huge - like really long and wide, like a large newspaper. I knew it was of value when I was 12 and wished then. That is just awesome!

We have a 1928 JCPenny Catalog but I didn't get to snag that one before hubby saw it. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: It's already in the sale lot. BUT I just KNOW I'm missing out on some great images, although, those pictures are still under copyright, so I guess, I'm not missing too much! LOL

You know the really old Sears catalogs had houses for sale....you build it.

I remember when I was little and going through the Sears catalog and making lists of all the stuff I wanted. Never got any of it, but it was just so much fun to make the list. I felt like I was buying it. And when we did get to order a few new dresses from the catalog, I was so excited when the box came in.
