You know that story where you walk into one room to do one thing and get sidetracked and never get the original task completed?
This was me today. I left work early, had my hands full, of course, and could not find my keys. I just had them in my hand, I KNEW I did. I could not find them. They were hooked onto my purse right where I put them everyday! I walk out of my office, with my hands full. Why make two trips? Unlock the car, put the stuff in, get in, look for my necessities...cell phone, lighter, cigarettes. No lighter. Dug through my purse...no lighter. Take my keys go back into my office..no lighter. Go back to the car, look in my purse, whoola..lighter. Put my seatbelt on, look for my keys...nowhere to be found...move my purse, find my keys. I start the car and go to put my seatbelt on, and realize it is already on. At this point, I am living that darn story! I drive away. Head out of the parking lot and turned the wrong way. I am not sure where I was going, but it definitely was in the direction of home! Head home, then I remember that I needed to stop and get some flat boxes. I stopped at one liquor store and he could only part with 5. Turned around and went to another where I could only get 4. I go home, went upstairs, sat my purse down, opened a cold Diet Coke and relaxed!!
Now you are probably wanting to know why I needed the flat boxes. My daughter is having a garage sale tomorrow and Friday and I am clearing out my rubber stamp supply! I have priced 8 beer flats and have one flat left. I need at least six more flats. I am thinking I need to go to the liquor store, buy some beer just to get the flats, and drink!
