I can't believe I just paid $9.99 for

A MAGAZINE!!!!1

I have never paid that much for a magazine in my life!!! But this one intrigued me, with a rolled up piece of sheet music on the front. It is the Stamper's Sampler apr/may/jun issue. I better get some inspiration out of this thing... AND I BETTER NOT HAVE TO BUY COPICS!!!!! :ROFLMBO: :hide: :ROFLMBO:

I also wanted the Art Journaling one, :hide: but I didn't get it, I figured I would use the other one more. LOL

All well, it will give me something to look at Monday during my next treatment. LOL

I just heard of several ladies from one of my yahoo groups getting published in that one. I bet it is good.

I spent 15.00 on one last fall. I am still kicking myself! It has nice cards, but I could have found most of them on-line. Fortunately, it did not lead to a Copics purchase. (I just fell back in love with my colored pencils, after using a Tim Holtz alcohol marker filled with mineral spirits as a blender. I heard about it on the MTC forum.)

Hope your treatment goes well.

I guess I haven't seen any of those magazines!! Walmart really doesn't carry that much. The went to "the city" last week, thinking I was going to get to shop around, but NO, I get a phone call from DH that I need to get home to get some paperwork done for two guys and it needs to be done NOW.

Dana, will be thinking and praying for you on your treatment. You've been on my mind a lot lately.

$9.99 is standard price here for most of our mags! I've paid upwards of $17 for some & it hurts!

Well looking through it, I do have some pages marked for some different techniques and a few pages marked for pages that I want to do in my life journal, so it has been inspiring. I have all these projects and things I want to try flying around in my head and I just haven't had time to execute them.

I want to try some stamping and masking (I have an idea that I think might work for this)
I have a bottle of etching creme that I want to try
I have a picture that needs put on canvas
I want to try crackling my acrylic paint on canvas

Oh... so many projects. I need another me, well maybe someone with a little more energy and LOTS more money! LOL

Maybe Thursday and Friday I will play, I already informed the family that I'm taking time off from wifely, motherly and house duties. :)

Dana, if you do find yourself 'having to buy Copics'--at least you know someone who can teach you the ins and outs of them . . . ;-)
