I think I lost my husband...

Postby LisaH » April 7th, 2012, 1:50 pm

No, really, I think I have a replacement  the one I have here told me this morning that he thinks it would be a good idea for me to put aside some extra money, as often as I can, and get me another kitty! He thinks I could use another one and leave one set up for vinyl and one to do all of the other things I like to do

Lisa, I would start putting money aside now before he changes his mind... and get the 24 inch one... LOL.... take all HIS change from his pocket every day, and put it in a jar... and you will have the money for your new kitty in no time. :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

I would love to have a second machine, but I need to start using the one I have more often. If I ever started creating so much stuff that I couldn't get it all done with one machine, then I could justify getting a second one. But as it is now, I don't have the time to even use the one I have more than a few times a month.

OMG Lisa - I had no idea what to expect!!! I agree with all - act on it now before he snaps out of it!

And yes it is a great compliment to you and all that you are doing. How very sweet. (Wonder what he wants to buy and is getting you in the right frame of mind to agree!!) Sorry - I am innately suspicious! LOL

Happy for you - go for it!

Lisa, how funny. My DH doesn't care what I buy but he does get a little upset when I sell it and lose money. I usually don't tell him everything but he did ask questions on the Cougar, he had to carry it to the post office. :hide:

Haha...actually he does want a tractor! :ROFLMBO: And I know this has to be the root of the suggestion...only thing is, I don't really need another kitty...I don't do enough right now to justify it. :?
It doesn't mean that I'm not gonna start that fund though!

Lisa, start saving!!!! I told DH that I wanted a smaller one to take to crops. He said go ahead! I bought a used one from a member on here and it is exactly what I needed!

The catch??? He wanted a new SLR camera because the one he had was 2 years old! It cost a LOT more than both my machines put together! :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: (But I guess if I added ALL my stuff up, it would be way more than BOTH cameras!) :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

I have mentioned this before, but try this savings method: Every time you get a $5.00 bill, tuck it away. I know most people use debit cards for purchase and what I do, when I check out at the grocery store, I ask for $10.00 or $20.00 in cash. Then, I ask for $5.00 bills. In my mind, I KNOW I cannot spend those! I am on my third round of saving the fives, and I have nearly $300.00 saved up since February.

There have been times when the grandkids come over and DH hands them $5.00 bills! My kids say, "MOM, he is giving away $5.00 bills! YOU save those!!!!" Then, the war is ON!!!! LOL
