Busting at the seams!!!!

Busting at the seams!!!!

Postby Mary Kobe » March 24th, 2012, 6:31 pm

I cannot hold this to myself anymore!!!

As you all know, my mil passed away on Wednesday. We cut our little vacation short and I had called my kids to tell them we would be home early. As we were on the road heading to our "half way" point, my next to the youngest daughter, Erin, called to see how we are doing. She said, "Mom, I need to tell you something. I am pregnant." I started crying and she wanted to know if I was mad! LOL No, I am very excited! It was such an emotional day and this just made it happier!!! She told me I could NOT tell anyone except my husband...which I did..until now!!! But I had to tell someone!!! Her son, Madden, will now have a brother or sister! Madden wants a sister...her name, according to Madden, will be "Banana"!!!

When I told dh, he said, "well, mom had to leave to make room for another". I had to laugh.

I went from crying from sadness, laughing with funny stories about mil, crying for daughter, laughing at dh...really could have used some good drugs!!! :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: I think it was called "rollercoaster"!

I am just giggling at the Banana bit! My granddaughter used to call the baby in mommy's belly a monkey and her dad said if it was a monkey he would call it Banana. My granddaughter called her little brother Banana for several months after he was born!

HUGS to you Mary - rollercoaster days are interesting to say the least.

Mary, Congratulations on a new little one. I believe when we lose a soul we get one back. Could we use Banana as a second name?

We say Hannah like you do but we pronounce banana like bar narna. So it doesn't rhyme here. Try again. :ROFLMBO:

My daughter went to the OB GYN yesterday. It is confirmed...she is pregnant! She is due around Thanksgiving! DH is excited because it may be on his birthday!

She goes back on Monday because there is a 99% chance that

She is carrying twins!!!

Please keep Erin in your prayers! She has a lot on her plate. She has a very active 4 year old boy, she is doing her student teaching this semester, she graduates in May, she is looking for a job, and their house is on the market. No stress in her life! LOL

BUT, if it IS twins, she may not be looking for a job...she may have to stay home and take care of them! Or, maybe I need to retire and help her!

She certainly does have a lot on her plate. Seems obvious to me that you need to retire and help her :)

Prayers for her definitely. Keep us posted!!
