Prayers answered a new picture of Payton

Praying!!! She will learn to eat and as Kate said this will be a memory. Keep telling yourself, this is to help!! I endured it more than once also. Still praying that soon she will have her in her loving arms.

Oh Lesa - I am so glad you got to see her today - that is wonderful. I hope she is able to move tomorrow - that will be wonderful. She is making such great progress.

As Kate said, the great thing is that she will not remember any of this.....

I went up to see her last night and a baby next to her was having difficulties and they called emergency surgeons in and kicked everyone out of the room and was operating on the baby right there. When I left the parents were hysterical and I felt horrible for them. Dawn told me this morning that they lost the baby after i left. We are so blessed that we got to keep payton with us.

Praying for the other family too. You learn very quickly in a place like that there is always someone going through something even worse than you are.

Thank you for the picture. It was beautiful to see and I too will add the other family to my prayers that they may find peace.
I once had to take my baby to the old children's hospital in Sydney. They had a house for mothers to stay in and it scared me as many of the locked doors had been opened with axes. I was there feeling sad that my baby had to have surgery which was really minor to some but not so minor it could be done in my hospital. I met a girl there that I hadn't seen since we went to school together when I was 11. Her baby boy was about to face an 18 hour heart surgery and it was his second. It made me realize how blessed I was.
She was alone, we all were as there were no provisions made then for partners and I sat with her waiting, we all knew how each was feeling. Then we waited together for 3 days when they told us he would make it and not need another surgery on his heart. I got a friend back when I needed one and she needed one. I don't think that was a coincidence. We had both travelled hours to get there from different places.
I went home that day thinking I would never see them again but we both moved back to our home town. A few years later I found her very first boyfriend worked for my father and I mentioned her. He told me they had married and they had 2 healthy sons now. I took that as Him telling me they were all well. I don't think that was a coincidence either.
The power of prayer is wonderful.

The dr called mommy today and said Payton is doing so well she may be able to go home a lot earlier than they anticipated, God is still in control... Lesa

Lesa, God always was in control. She is gorgeous and she looks so healthy. Her colour is really good so I can see why she is going home early. Her parents must be so happy and so are we.
