Homemade Modge Podge

I haven't tried this but I will one day. LOL

Step 1Gather it
You will need the following to make your own modge Podge:

1. Stove
2. Sauce Pan
3. 1 1/2 cups Flour
4. 1/4 of a cup of granula sugar
5.1/4 tsp oil (Veggie or olive)
6. Spoon
7. Mason Jar or air tight container
8. 1 cupWater
Step 2Mix it

i
Take the Saucepan and put it on Medium to Low heat on the stove top (3 or 4)
add the 1 and 1/2 cups flour 1/4 a cup of sugar, 1 cup water, and 1/4 a tsp oil.

You should add flour and water until you get your desired consistancy as these measurements are just ideas of what you may want.

If you'd like a higher varnish you should add more oil.
Step 3Stir it
Stir up all your ingredients over medium to low heat ( depending on how hot your stove top gets) for 5 to 10 minutes but make sure NOT TO BOIL the mixture.

Stir constatnly until well mixed
Step 4Store it
Take your Mason jar or other air tight container and pour the mixture in, let it cool to room temperature and seal.

I've not seen this recipe. If it doesn't work for Mod Podge, you can always make pancakes out of it :ROFLMBO: , sorry, I couldn't resist.

Thanks Suzan.

You are all so naughty, lol. Picking on Suzan's recipe like that. I am going to try it if granular sugar is what I think it is, if not mine could be interesting but edible and I like olive oil. Is granular sugar the ordinary white sugar we put in coffee? Not the finer castor sugar or the light brown raw sugar? Or brown sugar for caramel? I can't believe I need a lesson in sugar. We need to change the names of everything we use to the same ones.
Does it stay nice after you use it and once it is set? I don't want my crafts attracting rodents.
