A request for my little man Aiden

I am so sorry I missed this. I have only been on and off quickly for weeks now. You and Aiden are in my prayers. Please take care of you so you are ready for Aiden to be home and well.

How is the Little man doing have they figured out what was causing his troubles?

Thank you all and Iggy that was beautiful thank you! I have never seen this movie - now I need to find it!

Rachell we are waiting to get the blood work results on Tuesday. He was feeling better for several days and now is back to increasing stomach pains but still able to hold things down, just not much of an appetite.

Oh gosh, I hate to hear that. I wouldn't have an appetite either if my tummy hurt. Hope it is something really minor like something he eats doesn't like him much. Something controllable. Keep us posted. I'll keep him in my prayers.

Kathy - my DS now 22, had something like this happen. It was a "bowel" thing. He was able to outgrow it. I am praying it is that simple for your little man!!! Hugs!

Thanks Retta - I am praying for something simple like that as well! Rach and Kim thank you both! Tuesday can't get here quick enough to see if the blood work showed anything. If not then it is on to the next test - I think it will be an xray or ultrasound of the stomach and such.

Just wanted to give everyone an update. We went to the doctor this morning and the blood work all came back fantastic - no h-pylori, blood counts and white cells are all great! So now we wait to get in to see the pediatric gastroenterologist. In the mean time our doc has prescribed a liquid acid reflux medicine for him to see if that makes him feel any better.

Hopefully he will be feeling well enough to really enjoy this Thanksgiving dinner with ALL of the trimmings!! I think mashed potatoes are one of the best comfort foods out there - hope he can at least get those down and enjoy them.

So glad to hear all the tests are coming back normal. My youngest dd went through some of this too. She had a barium xray test done when she was about 6. Worse part was getting her to drink the barium. That came back normal too. She has had problems off and on, and even had more tests done right before she went off to college. They thought at one time that she had celiac disease, but that turned out negative too. Funny thing though, now that she is at college, she seems to be doing pretty well. (Knock on wood!)
