Why do they make it so hard for Mac users?

Hi gang...well let the gripping begin....oy...

I had parallels virtual machine software on my Mac and yesterday while I was realigning my quilting machine the pesky software did an update...wellll....

It crashed my Quickbooks software... *again!!!*

After a frustrating 4 hours trying to get it back I said to heck with it ( you know the language was stronger than that ) I marched myself to Costco and bought a dang windows laptop...I reloaded MTC, Quickbooks, EQ7, Embird, MS Office on the laptop and deleted that sucker off my Mac....and low an behold...the Mac is running way faster than before....go figure...

Why can't we get decent software that runs on a Mac? huh? The funny part is that Intuit (who make Quickbooks, Quicken etc...) is a Canadian company but they only make a Mac version for the US ...figures eh?

Awwww.... sorry for your frustration.

Of course, have you looked up the reviews on the Quicken for Mac?

There are over 100 one-star reviews from very unsatisfied customers.

Nancy, I so agree with you. I took VMWare Fusion off my Mac and it runs so much better now. I have a Windows laptop also that I use for MTC but everything else is on my Mac. It's a pain to have to run two separate computers and OS's.

Iggy that makes me feel better at least somebody else is not happy...oh and Phyllis ya make me feel better too...I thought it was just parallels...but glad to know VMWare Fusion is not much better....I think I'll send an e-mail to Parallels to try to get my monies back....worth a shot...
