Needing to find an Angel for a sympathy card DONE!

Postby kathybessey » October 24th, 2011, 7:27 pm

OK Ladies and Gents - I need to make a sympathy card tonight and the person that requested it wants angels on it (or an angel). I am having a heck of a time finding a digi stamp (or something else) of an angel that would be appropriate on a sympathy card. I can find cutesy angels, not so angelic angels and vintage angels in clip art and digi stamps but nothing that is just simple and beautiful.

Any ideas??

Kathy, What about looking for an angel image, and just resizing the image and printing it out for the front of your card.. then adding any embellishments. I did a search on just Angel Images, and some very nice ones came up...

Check your PM's kathy...

Thanks Diane!!! I found a great image that I did the decoupage on. I posted it on the October Card Challenge but here it is as well. The picture isn't the greatest..the text next to the angel says "Forever in our hearts"

Thank you ladies, that is very nice of you all. I brought the card to my friend at work today and she loved it, said the angel and the colors I used really brought out the essence of her friend that just passed away. God is wonderful!

That is so special, Kathy. What a lovely and thoughtful thing to do. I love the detail and personalization.
