Happy Wedding Day!!!!! Can't wait to hear all the details and am hoping you can post some pix too.

Aww CeCe - thanks sweetie!! I am so excited for Scott and Megan - they are so beautiful in all ways. I am definitely gaining a daughter although I feel like that happened the day I met her!!

Not sure I will get pics posted tonight, but will share some tomorrow once I get home and unpacked and settled back in.

Thanks CeCe - it means a lot. It was a great idea of the kids to rent these two "estates" in Palm Desert - they are gorgeous and the back yard of the "wedding house" is so beautiful with the white chairs set up and the pool fountains running - it's all pretty amazing........ everyone is so very happy and excited. Can hardly wait until 5:00!!

I don't think I have ever felt happier or prouder......

My heart feels like it is just bursting. Uh oh - better stop as the tears are coming - for the third time today!! I am soooooo emotional!!

Gigi, Have been thinking about you all day... and can't wait to see pictures of the happy couple, and all the decorations. I'm sure everything is going to be perfect in every way. Enjoy the day!!! You deserve it for all the hard work you did in helping with everything.

Thanks Dawn and Diane - and the kids did most of the work - I was just on the support team!!

It's winding down - pictures in an hr with the family - yikes!! It's hot but it will be perfect as the party starts!!

Will post some pics if I don't get so wrapped up in it all that I forget to take them!! :roll:

Would not be the first time!!

Thanks Sheri - I did. It was an amazing ceremony and evening. The pastor was great and there was a lot of laughter from all. They wrote their own vows and they were funny but touching. It was a magical evening and quite a four day experience....and I am EXHAUSTED!!!

Glad to hear everything went well, and I'm sure it is a day for all to remember. Glad it is over for you and now hopefully you can get some rest and catch up on anything you need to. Don't forget to post pictures when you get a chance.

Thank you all - it was beyond wonderful.... am in a letdown mode today.

Will post pics as soon as I get some from Scott and Megan's friends who were taking them like crazy. I think I have some pre-wedding photos of the setup - will check later and see as I gave my camera to a friend to get some pictures before it got too crazy!!

Both the kids are back at work this morning - guess life does go on!!

OH that's a bummer. No honeymoon? Will they be taking one later? Yeah, it was nice for me when my daughter got married that my sister spent the next week with me.

They are both teaching , Scott part time as he also tutors and is starting his own business. So life was back to "normal" for them. I think they are going to take a mini honeymoon after Christmas and then maybe in the summer. I talked to them tonight and they are both SO happy - and that is all that matters. And of course with all of her family up there they are all still together and partying - good for them - hard for me......

And life goes on!

Oh you are so right that the "happy" part is all that matters. And I bet that sure is hard for you with her family all still there and you back home. I hope you can all visit again soon. Our newlyweds were over last night to help celebrate dh's birthday. It was a lovely time.
