Yay Retta, I am praying nothing stops this surgery and you feel wonderful after it. A few of my friends have had theirs removed and they don't need them. They were so happy to see them gone and now they do that nice key hole surgery which had most of my friends out of hospital in one day. If you need a longer rest tell them it still hurts and we won't tell.

Hi, I just wanted to thank everyone and let you know I had my surgery. The doctor said that all went well and I at least do not have that pain anymore. Thanks so much for your prayers and support. I am really looking forward to getting more creating and crafting done!!!!

I'm glad to hear the surgery was a success. Best wishes on a good recovery. Make sure not to over due things though! At least, don't do like I did. I got to return twice for hernias for doing too much, too soon.

Thanks Jeannette. I will keep that in mind. Right now the pain from the surgery isn't as bad as the pain from the gallbladder, so it feels so much better that way. I just am dying to make more stuff. I've been feeling out of sorts which is what I do when I don't create, draw, teach or something.

So glad to hear that all went well Retta. I know you want to get back to creating, but please be careful so that you don't have any issues with your recovery. Just do some creating in your mind, just have a notebook to jot down your ideas, cuz if you're like me, you will forget it even 5 minutes later!

BTW, I will be in your neck of the woods next weekend as DH, DD and SIL will be going to visit DD at Notre Dame and taking in the football game. I am excited about the game. It is only the second ever college, Division I that is, football game I have been to. The other was when I was a child. My dad got tickets to a Georgia Tech football game and my mom and I went with him. I remember it as a very good time. The Notre Dame game is against Navy. Should be a good one. And after the game, the dining halls at ND have candlelight dinners. We plan on going with DD and her boyfriend. She said that they serve very special desserts, so you should get that first, get your seat, and then go get your meal, LOL!
Anyhow, I will be especially thinking of you as we drive near your neck of the woods. Didn't mean to hijack your thread, but that does seem to happen on this forum, doesn't it????
