Thanks everyone for the prayers.
Things are looking much better for her!
I got better details from my brother over our holiday weekend. They figure that it's a viral infection that she's got. It caused her platelets to drop to close to nothing. To treat it they did a transfusion, but the first time the platelets dropped again really quickly. Thankfully, the second round of them were more successful and her counts are holding at a high level now. She's out of the hospital and back to her normal routine. They will do a blood test weekly, then monthly for at least 6 months to ensure that the counts stay were they belong, but for now, they are all looking good.

Thank you so much for keeping her in your prayers.

Jeanette I am so very happy they figured out quickly what was wrong. Viral infections can be very nasty. Since they can't treat it with antibiotics. Will pray her platelettes continue to stay up.
