I think I need to dust!!

Postby CaseysAngel » September 28th, 2011, 8:21 am

I can't believe I'm admitting this but I went to turn on the computer and the kid's had drawn a smiley face in the dust on my screen.

Now didn't you teach them never to draw in dust or dirt. I mean they may have to clean it! LOL

Darn those kids anyway, you could have gotten by a little longer if they would have left well enough alone :whip: I think I would just put a dust rag in their hands. :D

Make it a game and make them dust, hide some pennies around the house tell them how many there are and let them go at it.

If they hadn't drawn in the dust you could have convinced them their eye sight was getting bad. :ROFLMBO: I thought I was losing my sight last week and then I cleaned my reading glasses. It was amazing how much better I could read.
What is dusting? I thought you left that stuff on as furniture protection. My furniture is really protected. :ROFLMBO: :hide:

You can't dust it now, Christy, its ART!

Can I use that one Christy? I am going to remodel my kitchen and a bathroom in a few months. So I have practice dust! :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:
I used to love it when my daughter got the hiccups every night after I had onions. It was so fun to watch my stomach hiccup after dinner. :ROFLMBO: I was a mean mother. Now she never gets the hiccups but I do when I take my first bite of any meal. Pay back! :hide:

Kate, DH and I loved to give DS pineapple slices when he was just a little toddler. He made the funniest faces on that first bite. We would roll over laughing. But DS LOVED pineapples. On his first day of school, I asked him what he had for lunch. He was so excited!!! He had chocolate pudding, which he threw away and he had Pineapple slices!!! And EVERYONE gave him their pineapple slices!!

And my screen needs dusting. DH constantly tells me that my screen needs cleaning. Between the dust and fingerprints, it really does. But it is a touchscreen and so I only clean it when I turn the computer off. I don't turn it off very often....like once a year.

Ummm, Christy you need to implement the rule that I have at my house - anyone who writes, draws or otherwise disturbs the dust is the one who must then do the cleaning/dusting! Works quite well actually! ;)

A true crafter only achieves the look of clean. Real cleaning is forbidden (except for craft areas only when neccessary)

I think the one who thinks it is dusty/dirty should be the one to clean it. And with that said, my house is spotless. :ROFLMBO: Those dishes in the sink are really clean, just misplaced.

:ROFLMBO:

The understanding at my house is: you can draw or write in the dust all you want, but if you put a date on it or write "Dust Me" you just volunteered to clean it. :D

Kim, This made me laugh. My daughter loved pineapple when she was small but whenever she ate it she blistered her lips and her face. We told her she couldn't have it anymore and we could always tell when she sneaked some. :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:
I just put my comp screen on sleep and clean it with the spray that came with my reading glasses. I get fingermarks and dust all over it and it is the only thing that must be cleaned when I think I am losing my sight. :hide:
