Just to let you all know that BIL came in town yesterday. He wanted to meet up with us for dinner. Well, as luck would have it, I have a sinus infection with bronchitis, so they declined. We cannot meet up with them until Sunday...darn the luck! I am working late tonight, grandson's graduation from pre-school is tomorrow night, and daughter's graduation from college is Saturday. I feel so BAD that we can't meet up with them!

I have ordered the food for Sunday. I have made sure that all of the food contains strawberries, tomatoes, sprayed veggies, msg, and gluten!!

Well, guys, I made it through the weekend! Just a few glitches here and there, but it is Monday and the weekend is over!

My grandson graduated from pre-school last Friday. (Another item added to my agenda!!)

Graduation for my daughter was very nice! Glad that is over! They left this morning to go to "Fowida", as my grandson says!

I know you are all dying to know about the food and the memorial!!!! Everything was fine! Food was great! They ate what we had and they are still alive!!

Conversations were good....UNTIL....my BIL told everyone to pull their chairs around and form a circle. Then, he had this centerpiece in his hands and said that when you had the centerpiece, it was "your turn" to speak and share some words about his mom! OMG!!!! My oldest daughter got up and moved to the kitchen area and began organizing so she did not have to participate. Her husband ran home to get more to "drink". (They live up the street from the clubhouse.) My step-son went to the restroom! My husband was doing photography, so he did not have to speak! NOT FAIR!!!!!!!

It is over. They will be leaving on Thursday and fortunately they are staying with her family an hour away!

I seem to recall that you had to be somewhere in August! Glad you are feeling better and that everything went off just fine. Glad your BIL's family survived the food.....all the preservatives/additives to the food will just add years on their lives....maybe you should consider getting them organic food.
