Need Prayers

To my Cyber Family:
I need your prayers, most especially for my father. He called this morning and found my mother unconcious and vomiting. I drove to where they lived and she was in the hospital with a massive stroke. She passed away around noon. My parents were married for 53 years and was each others best friend. He is going to need your prayers more than anyone. I know many will remember my posts of how much my mother meant to me. I will be on the forum off and on, when I need a break from my emotions. But I probably won't be around too much. I am home right now as my aunt came to town and will be staying with my dad. He needs his sister right now. I need to get clothes and things ready so that I can go down there and stay. Plus making sure the dogs will be taken care of. Plus get my brother all situated so that he can be there too. I'm sad and heartbroken, but I know that God has a new angel and a very special one. She didn't suffer for which I am eternally grateful. We have a lot of community and church support as EVERYONE LOVED my mother. I was blessed to have her as my mother and left nothing unsaid so I have no regrets. But my dad is going to be so lost without the love of his life.

OMG Kim, I am so so sorry my heart is just breaking for you right now, and for your dad. I lost my dad unexpectedly, and the shock of it all is just so awful.
My prayer right now is that that The Lord brings all of you comfort, peace and strength to get thru this. It is so very hard losing a parent, especially one we are so close to. If you ever need to vent just let me know I have been there, and the one thing that got me thru it, was God promised me the strength to handle it. And he will be by your side the whole time. Don't give up your faith no matter how bad you are feeling. God will take care of you. All of you. I will be praying for you and please even though we are miles apart if there is anything I can do, just ask. Love you and big hugs.

It is with tears for this dear sister and her family. Lord we thank you for knowing what we need and for supplying even before we know. We just ask that you walk with each of them as the grieve for this lovely mother and wife, and friend. May every need be met and comfort given. Lord we ask that you use this to show just how much love and compassion you bring as a gift that anyone can accept and know. We just ask this all in your name. Amen.

Thank you all SO MUCH for the prayers and thoughts!!! I am fine right now...I am sure this will all hit later, but I really am more worried about my dad at this point. Plus taking care of my brother so that he doesn't break down. DH and DS are on their way home to be with me which will be a huge comfort and my "shoulder" to lean on. And as I said before, the love that we have in the community and church are awesome, as mom was so well loved by all. But please pray that my dad will have the strength to go through the next few days and the weeks and months ahead. He truly has lost a half of himself. And God truly answered my prayers. I didn't want her to go yet, but since she was not going to recover, He took her fast and without pain.

One of your daughters has lost a dear mother and friend today. She does know that her mom has come to be with Thee, but she is left here without the friendship and companionship in this mortal time. She is also worried for her dear father, as he has lost his soul mate, companion, help meet... a part of himself. Father, please send Thy Comforter, the Holy Ghost, to this family at this time of their loss. Let Thy loving care and support be felt through The Spirit as He spreads warmth and love to Kim, her father, her brother, and the entire family. Please bless them all with a sense of peace, a sense of calmness, a sense of Thy great love for them, and for the mother and wife that is now with you. Please give them support and strength to get through the upcoming trials as the loss sinks in. Continue to bless them with the support of friends and church members who will act as Thy angels upon the earth and as Thy hands to bring comfort and help to this family. We ask for this and all other blessings that Thou would bestow upon them.
