How to etch FILLED letters

How to etch FILLED letters

Postby gfleener » October 8th, 2018, 11:14 am

Hello! I'm using SCAL 5 on a Mac, with Silver Bullet Pro 13". I'm etching lettering onto plastic with the etching tool, and am wondering how to tell SCAL that I want the letters to be filled in, or crosshatched or whatever it takes to get the letters more solid, vs just an outline. Thank you in advance!! :-)

Just a reminder - you can search the forum for a lot of things and this is one of them. :) I just did a quick search for cross hatch fill and these are just a couple of the posts that came up. If you need more info or get stuck, just holler. I love the cross hatch fill - so fun!!

And there are instructions here:

That was from an earlier SCAL version, but I think the basics are the same. LMK if you need further help. Have fun!!
