Registration Marks on Print and Cut

Registration Marks on Print and Cut

Postby Cbholland » July 29th, 2018, 2:03 pm

Decided to finally move over to SCAL from MTC but already running into an issue. I use print and cut only and the registration marks are way further away from my images than in MTC. I print stickers on paper so now the registration marks are off the paper. Is there any way to make the registration mark tighter to the images in the software?

Easy fix.

Open SCAL and go to the cutter tab on the TOP menu. Click on it and select "Cutter Settings".
Adjust the registration mark offset down and it will bring it closer to your images. See photo below. You can check in the preview menu and see where the printer margins are and the registration marks so you can be sure they are where you want them before printing. I usually move mine closer, just have not done it yet with the new SCAL 5.

That should help.

Thank you!! I was trying to find something using the cutter button. Didn't think about the cutter tab on top! haha Bit of a learning curve moving from MTC!

Yes there is, but I think you will love it once you get used to it - I sure do! :)

Plus the drivers are updated for our machines so it works seamlessly. Good luck. We are here if you need any help.
