SCAL 4 PRO taking forever to load

SCAL 4 PRO taking forever to load

Postby mmhockeyfan » June 10th, 2017, 10:08 am

Hi All,
I'm running SCAL Pro 4.059 on a Mac and lately it has been taking forever to load. I don't think the problem is with my machine as other software loads quickly. Has anyone run into this issue? Any advice?
Thanks

Even though other programs load quickly, there is always the possibility that you have something running in the background that is causing a minor conflict with SCAL and making it slower to load. You might double check and be sure you have nothing running in the background and also see if you have installed any new programs lately.

There is a newer version of SCAL so you might also try installing the Pro version 4.062 and see if that makes a difference.

Thank you Gigi. I see that CraftEdge is showing 4.062, but when I click on version history it shows 4.057. Strange...
Anyways, I'll take a look at background programs.

If you install it, it does install as 4.062.

Also look at anything you may have installed recently that could be fighting with it. If you cannot figure out why it is taking longer to load than you are used to, please feel free to contact Brandon directly.
