Following information on here I was advised not to use the machine settings in scal for my Silver Bullet. Has any work been done on SCAL in the last few months to make using the machine settings advisable? Thanks

I almost always cut from the software and have not had a problem. I am using SCAL Pro. Last I heard, Brandon was not able to duplicate the issue - but am happy to check with him.

Thanks Gigi! Usually it isn't a problem but I have a few projects where I want to kiss cut and then cut through and it would just be easier to do it in the software than doing it manually. Appreciate your help.

I would say try some test projects and see how it responds.

If I understand your question correctly, I believe you are talking about setting speed and force? I have found it's easier to duplicate settings when I set force and speed from the machine. Also, testing media is a breeze because I'm adjusting settings and test cutting in one place.
