Illustrator file to Sure Cuts a Lot No Nodes

I've imported an Illustrator file to Sure Cuts A Lot and I can't figure out how to edit nodes. When I click on Node Editing, no nodes show up in my art. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you!

Did you select the entire image and then click on it with the node editing selected? Are you importing into SCAL or sending direct to SCAL from Illustrator.

You can also click on Window>Preview and see the nodes if you select show nodes.

Also, in Edit>Preferences, be sure your SVG DPI says Illustrator, not Inkscape or Corel Draw as that could affect the way your file imports.

If you still don't see any nodes (I don't use Illustrator so am giving more of a generic answer) then try saving what you did in Illustrator as an svg and then import that into SCAL.

I am sure someone who knows Illustrator will have a much better answer!

Saving as an svg in illustrator and then importing to SCAL worked, thank you!

Would still love to know how to get the nodes to show up using the SCAL Illustrator plugin. I thought ungrouping my objects would solve it but sadly it did not. Gotta be missing something...
