Getting double circles when importing SVG

Getting double circles when importing SVG

Postby handsup » October 10th, 2014, 11:13 pm

Greetings all,

New SB owner here. Having a problem importing SVG files which include circles from Inkscape into SCAL. I get overlapping double circles that are in union. Anyone have a similar problem? How can I remedy this?

Thanks

Can you show a screen shot of what you are talking about or attach the file so we can try it? Sometimes it is hard to visualize the problem.

Have you tried just sending to SCAL from Inkscape instead of importing? Just wondering if that would make a difference - realizing I still don't fully understand the problem. Could you have hidden layers? Again, seeing the file would help immensely. Would be happy to look at it. (if you upload it to the forum you will need to zip it. if you want to PM it to me, you can just attach it.)

Use Path/Object to Path in Inkscape before sending or importing to Scal

Thanks,

Using Object to Path does the trick!
