Exporting/importing an svg

I have successfully exported and imported several svg's from my program into SCAL for some time now. Now, the shape doesn't want to import with the text. The vector program we use is highly specialized and we do all our aligning and such in there and I don't want to have to realign in SCAL just because the shape won't import now. Help!

Make sure that all objects are converted to Path

I am not familiar with this aspect of SCAL. Is this something I do in my vector program or SCAL?

Yes you convert all objects to path in your vector program before exporting to Scal
