Printing a PDF or similar from Sure Cuts

Postby intricutz » April 19th, 2014, 7:18 pm

I have a chalkboard style save the date that needs to be borderless and I would like to use SCAL and my SB to do this. I have a system to do bordleress with these two components and it works very well. However, I cannot get the image to show up on my print preview, all it shows is a black rectangle. I have done some searching and realize you need the graphic to be vectorized but I don't know where to start? :hide:
Thanks,
Martha

Details on how to do a print and cut which is when you vectorize a graphic, are in the SB Learning Center.

In the Learning Center, go to SCAL>Cutting from SCAL>Performing a Print and Cut.

Hope that helps. Holler if you get stuck.

Just realized you said PDF. You should not need to vectorize a PDF - it should be ready to cut. If for some reason it doesn't come in as clear as you would like, you can just trace it per the instructions.

You can also open your PDF and save it as a jpg which will allow you to do the PnC a little easier.
