Brandon at Craftedge ROCKS....

Postby PennyDuncan » July 30th, 2012, 11:31 am

Just had to share that I emailed Brandon over the weekend asking him if it would be an easy fix for him to make it so that we can have the insides of a shape cut BEFORE the outside......He just emailed me back to let me know that will be on the NEXT UPDATE!!!! How AWESOME is that!!!!!

That is AWESOME!!! I am so glad I stayed with scal. when I first got my Lynx I thought about switching, but have been a loyal scal user since 2008, and just couldn't do it. So glad now. :)

I love how he is really listening....of course it wasn't my email that made him do that.....it was several requests...and Sherri & Tyler have been working with him.....but I'm THRILLED TO KNOW it's close!!!!!

HI Penny
Now I know that you are person of influence - would you consider mentioning my wish (already posted on Craftedge website) to be able to save the mats in differing sizes. In the Uk we mainly use A4 which is 8.29 x 11.69 inches and I have to change it everytime I try to print and cut from SCAL - hence the video

Hey Pandora....I'm not at home to look right now...BUT.....they do give you the option to save your workspace.....have you tried setting the mat up the way you want it and try saving your workspace???????? DEFINATELY worth a try.......

BTW...don't think I have influence....but very sweet of you for your comment!!! ;)

Ok....I just checked....You do have the option (which I had already selected because mine remains when I close the program) for it to retain the last layout..........here's a screen print to get to the Preferences it's under EDIT in the menu bar at the top.....

I wish someone would respond to my emails. I have sent two over the past two weeks. I can't seem to be able to run the trial version of scal. I was thinking if switching but I want to try it first. Lol
