Scal 3 and my mac...need help!

Postby 2ndchance55 » March 21st, 2012, 12:09 pm

Can someone help me with my issue?
I am trying to use my new Lynx with SCAL3 and all I get is a message saying it has been sent to the cutter but my Lynx just sits there and does nothing. I want to play really bad and I want this to work!
Help me!! I need a solution.
I have downloaded the driver for the mac but still nothing. What am I doing wrong??
Thanks!!

I don't use a mac version but you might want to contact by email at support craft edge (scal) and ask them also
Helping where I can when I can.

Have you accidentally changed the br rate on the Lynx?
Try a factory reset.
Switch of the Lynx, hold down the origin button and switch back on. Keep the origin button held down until the lcd screen reads reset

Hey Dorothy.......I'm not sure about the MAC's either...but I'm wondering if you might have missed making sure the correct port is selected and make sure one of your settings has the Xon/Xoff selected......I know that is VERYvague...but I'm at work right now and can't look at mysettings.....and of course I have a PC and not a MAC.....But someone will be around soon to answer your questions almost guarantee it!!!!

You wouldn't believe how many bizarre ways the baud rate has been changed accidently. I know leaning over the machine has caused this problem before. LOL That it is working for you now.
