Where can I find a good tutorial for Inkscape

Hi all,
I am brand new to Inkscape and I would like to find a couple of good tutorials. I want to do very basic things. The first project will be a simple two part box, with the lid sliding onto the bottom. I also want to cut a window in the lid. Most of the YouTube tutorials seem to be more creative and graphic in nature. Eventually I hope to advance to creating houses and other 3D objects.
Thanks for the help
Dale

There is a forum for learning Inkscape for cutting machines, that may be of help.

While I don't know if they have a specific tutorial for what you are wanting to do, it will help in learning the program for the kinds of things we want to do with our cutters.

When I was trying to learn Inkscape, I did it by watching a few tutorials on how to do things, even if they weren't doing exactly what I wanted to do, it did help me learn how to use the program overall. The more I learned on just the individual tools to use, the easier it was to put it all together to do the things I wanted to do.
