Color Profile/inkscape on Epson, colors? help!

I was looking around some and saw that Inkscape does not support color profiles. I printed some stuff for PNC with my new Epson 1430 and colors came out much darker. My monitor is calibrated with a little color vision spyder. I tried turning off the color correction on my Epson. Any other ideas out there besides making everything much lighter and brighter?

this one is over my head! I have no idea about color profiles. That will have to go on my "need to learn one day" list. I'm sure one of the more experienced users will be on later.

You can always export the file including the reg marks and then open it in your usual graphics program to get the colours you want

I found this tip on another forum, turn off high speed print, turn off color adj, best photo, plain paper, adjust vivid setting to +5cyan. +5 magenta -10 yellow
I hope this works!!!!

Kim this is just so you can match printed output to what you see so that when you print a photo or adjust it, it doesn't come out creepy!!!!
