Annoying Internet Explorer 9 opening my SVGs

Anyone run accross a fix for this? No matter how many times I use the "open with" function and make Inkscape my default program for opening SVG files, next time I start up my computer, IE has taken over again. Very annoying!!!!

I don't have a fix, but I usually just open Inkscape, and then Import what ever image or design I want to work with. Or I will right click and can select Inkscape (not Open WITH but just INKSCAPE is listed in my popup menu) and open that way.

I use Firefox so am not help either. I am sure someone will know but importing will certainly take care of the problem.

When you right click on your SVG file and click open with and then go to "Choose Default Program", make sure the the box is checked that says "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file". If not, I am not sure how to fix it. I would just uninstall the IE9 update as Windows 7 usually comes with IE8 and then goes to IE9 through Windows Updater. Not sure if it helps, but may be worth looking into.

Thanks but still same issue. Tried everything blah... And internet explorer keeps going to version 9.
Oh well. Thanks again for all the suggestions!
