Notes in Inkscape?

Notes in Inkscape?

Postby Angel135612 » November 6th, 2011, 8:10 pm

Is there a way to make some notes that will be accessible to a specific file in Inkscape? (Something like MTC has for ntoes?) I have been working on my Stamp Card file, resizing it to make it smaller for Thank You Cards, and I would like to make some notes on what I have done, so when I open the file later (even 5 minutes later I will have forgotten what I did) I will be able to look at the notes right there with the file. I want to put as many pieces of each part of the design as I can fit on a page when I'm ready to cut out, that way I can cut out multiple cards at once easily. But I would like to make a note of the size change I did. Since SVGCuts puts an extra node in their designs to make it easy to resize all the pieces to the same size, I can't just look at the size of my individual designs, because once I have figured out the size I want, I remove that node, so it won't cause problems with my cutting.

Thanks for asking Diane and great idea, Whizzy. I have been wondering the same thing but never remembered to ask! :banghead:

Thanks for the idea Whizzy.. I will have to remember to do that. For this file, I just added a page to my One Note program and made my notes there, with a link to the file. (I keep thinking I need to get orgainzed, and use my One Note more for that, but it never seems to happen).
